Refund Policy

1) Right of withdrawal (EU customers)

If you are a consumer located in the European Union or EEA, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without providing any reason, in accordance with EU consumer protection laws.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day you (or a third party appointed by you, other than the carrier) receive the goods.


2) How to start a return

Include the following information:

  • your order number

  • the item(s) you wish to return

  • a brief explanation (optional, but helpful)

We will provide you with return instructions and next steps.


3) Return conditions

To be eligible for a return, items must:

  • be unused and in original condition

  • be returned in the original packaging (where reasonably possible)

  • include all accessories, manuals, or components originally included

Returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused or subject to partial refunds.


4) Return shipping costs

Unless otherwise stated:

  • return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

  • original shipping costs are non-refundable

If the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, we will cover the return shipping costs.


5) Refund process

Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved:

  • refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • processing typically takes 5–10 business days

Please note that your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post the refund.


6) Non-returnable items

Certain items may not be eligible for return due to hygiene, safety, or legal reasons.

If an item is non-returnable, this will be clearly stated on the product page before purchase.


7) Late or missing refunds

If you have not received your refund after the processing period:

  • first check your bank account

  • then contact your payment provider

  • if the issue persists, contact us at contact@modernlife.world


8) Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges.

If you wish to replace an item, please return the original product and place a new order.


9) Order cancellations

Orders can be canceled only if they have not yet been processed or shipped.

Once an order has entered the processing or shipping phase, cancellation is no longer possible and the return procedure must be followed.
